My name is Ben Hayden, I am the owner, operator, and the sole DJ for my company 518 Entertainment. I have been a DJ since 1992, a Graphic Designer & Web Developer since 1998. 518 Entertainment started when I moved back to my hometown of Rotterdam, New York in 2009. I have a true passion for music and I love doing what I do for a living! There is nothing more pleasing to me than seeing people on the dance floor having a great time. I am a fully insured individual company and proud to be a member of the A.D.J.A. (American Disc Jockey Association)

I want to create a genuine friendship with each client, bride, and groom who hires me to DJ/MC their special event & wedding reception. Once I’m booked as your DJ / Entertainer I will be at your service 24/seven, throughout the entire planning process. As your DJ / Event Coordinator, I will not only DJ your event, but I will help coordinate all of the formalities of your event. I take the work out of your hands and put it into my own. You can relax and enjoy the most important day of your life, knowing that I will take care of all the needs to be attended to in a professional and timely manner. From the time the first guest arrives at your event, until the last dance of the evening, work together as a “TEAM” with your photographer, videographer, and banquet manager.

Each event, wedding reception that I DJ / Coordinate, is customized with “NEW” & “FRESH” ideas to meet your exact goals and envision of your event. In my book, no two events should ever be the same. From music to lighting, to video presentations, I can handle it all.

My goal is to have each client; bride & groom walk out of their special day saying they had the time of their lives that day.
